There's just something about this early concept of Lucy for Despicable Me 2 cuz she was originally supposed to be a lot more silly and have a silly dog too - she was supposed to be just opposite of Gru, that's all her personality was supposed to be. Luckily they changed her to be more of a "new character that Gru eventually falls in love with" instead of "Gru's love interest". I don't even see what would make him fall in love with her if she was just like this, they changed her for better and added more layers to her character. Now she's one of my favourite characters ever because she genuinely doesn't feel like a love interest, she feels like a part of the franchise.

Just saw the F1 (Brad Pitt) movie trailer thanks I hate it

#one of the worst thing I have seen in a while #the title is...is nothing. NOTHING. Jesus I am not saying come up with the best title ever but 'F1' is not a movie title.#it's an abbreviation of the name of the sport #hell Rush wasn't a brilliant titoe either but it was something at least #'who said anything about safe' jesus christ I know I myself am a relatively new fan but I have to ask #does Brad Pitt know anything about this sport #is someone going to explain to him that hurting oneself/dying in a car crash doesn't make you cooler #that it IS important that a car is safe when the sport is already so dangerous in itself #I will only pirate this movie for the cameos (Gunther and Max are who I saw for now)#but God it already looks like a shitshow #and the song...I love Queen but it really looks like they wanted to put a generic ass popular rythmic song #it's like they put the same effort in choosing the song that they put in choosing the title #the bare minimum #I swear I didn't watch the trailer wanting to hate it. #original #I LOVE MY WIFE #romance #best friends #mad sleepover energy #we talked for over 3 hours about our respective novels-in-progress & she read me a moment in hers that made me weep w how beautiful it was #like if you know the 'I want to live!!!' moment in one piece it was like that but better #we also spent the entire day in the apt together as we do most days but generally we are co-working on separate things for a lot of the day #I also came up with a GREAT idea to strengthen the themes of her story and she came up with an EXCELLENT monster for mine #it's going to be so thematically appropriate and also incredibly cool and deeply anti-military~~~~#and it gave me the opportunity to include an incredible scene for the main villain #also the new Count of Monte Cristo trailer looks dope as fuck. fucking finally an Edmond that's not a white guy!!!#there's been dozens of adaptations of the book but none of them reflect the fact that in the book he is brown!#also I liked pretty much everything else I saw about the trailer. he is unbelievably sexy he is so hot I am a gay gay person #I love my fucking wife #and I had to update her about my good friend Count Edmond and his new movie adaptation!

#Every day I refresh my tabs and every day I scream internally #Right now I'm betting on us either getting a trailer for the new episodes or a movie/game with It as the main draw OR #Or we are getting a first look at the new opening #I don't know what else could be a special announcement because I would think premiering an episode early would be a mess schedule-wise #So a trailer for a movie/game/the next few episodes would make sense #But also the new opening has been in the works for months at this point. So this would be the perfect time to show it #Cruddy rambles #I'm trying to maintain my expectations to 'I will be disappointed if I expect the best scenario'#But also being realistic in what this special announcement is and what they're gonna show #I really think it will be a trailer or the new opening. I think that'd be perfect while not showing the full episode it'd still build hype #And just show people what they're there to see and what they're promoting (G5)#Like come on don't tell me we wouldn't all lose our minds over a teaser trailer featuring G5 showing us it fully animated for the first time #Because in Film Red we just got static G5 Luffy. Which was dope BUT I want to see how he's gonna move.#And even if it isn't relating to the upcoming episodes seeing a game/movie get announced with G5 as the main draw would be so fucking hype #I loved film red don't get me wrong but I think they're gonna announce another movie soon #And what perfect time to do it!! G5 is gonna be in the anime soon so a whole movie based on rubberhose antics would be so fucking fun #And hey I'm in the minority here but I do love the one piece games despite them being super simplistic #And I would kill for a game where you can play as Nika. I would KILL FOR IT #I will say tho my worst fear is what G5 will have CGI components #They've been using them a LOT in Wano and it's so obvious every time and well 🤢 they don't look good...#It's too smooth and obvious and sure that *could* lend to the whole unnatural rubberman vibe Nika gives off but like...#You have a whole genre of non-CGI animation to be inspired by!!!! If they forgo rubberhose and make it even partly CG I *will* cry
